I studied Interaction Design at The Glasgow School of Art, following earlier training in Chemical Engineering, where I developed a strong foundation in process and systems thinking. This combination continues to shape my approach to lighting design, balancing creativity with structured methodology.

My interest in lighting began through programming LEDs and creating bespoke lighting structures for audio-visual installations at university. Working with light alongside sound and interaction sparked a fascination with its experiential potential.

In 2024, I joined Speirs Major Light Architecture, where I have worked on an exhibition project at the Barbican that explores the relationship between light, sound, and movement through space. I am particularly interested in the control and restraint of lighting, using light to create rhythm and atmosphere and allowing spaces to breathe without unnecessary intervention.

What I value most at Speirs Major Light Architecture is the emphasis on returning projects to their core principles, enabling thoughtful design decisions that enhance the overall experience of a space.
