Speirs Major

I studied Architecture at the University for the Creative Arts, completing both my Part 1 and Part 2 qualifications. During my studies, I developed a passion for designing story-driven spaces and discovered the power of light as a tool for storytelling and shaping spatial experiences.

I joined Speirs Major Light Architecture in 2022 as an Assistant Designer and have since worked on a major retail development in China, as well as two workplace projects in London. One of the things I appreciate most about working at Speirs Major is the encouragement to explore personal interests through different projects. This has allowed me to experiment with the relationship between sound and light, particularly in installations and immersive environments.

Outside of work, I enjoy music production, creating and editing short films, and exploring different creative outlets. I also speak Tamil.
